Welcome to my Blog!

Hello everyone & welcome to my blog! My name is Juanicia Crump, and I am currently a graduate student majoring in Human Services Program Administration at Eastern Illinois University. I received my undergraduate degree five years ago, majoring in Family & Consumer Sciences at Eastern Illinois University. In the past, I used to work as an early childhood educator, a youth career coach, & a homeless intake specialist. My experience with working in non-profit organizations compels me to wear many hats on the job. My goals are to obtain a directory or supervisory role in the human services field and have a comprehensive understanding of managing those programs. I love helping others, and any job that allows me to do so is an excellent job for me! 

For my graduate project in Family & Debt Management, I am looking to volunteer my time and skills at a local financial service agency. The agency will be at Cooper & Bumpus Insurance Agency for at least 25 hours this semester. In addition, I will develop a small presentation to share with my class at the end of the semester. The purpose of this blog is to document my time spent at a financial agency and learn how to counsel others in family budgeting and debt management. I can't wait to take you on this journey and to share what I will experience.
