    Cooper Bumpus Insurance Agency is an independent insurance agency in Charleston, IL, that offers insurance coverages for car, health, life, business, and home insurance. They provide coverages that fit their clients' daily lives and are tailored to their client's needs.

    Their business started on January 2, 1980, with David Cooper. It was then named David Cooper Insurance Agency. He wanted to build a company based on honesty and integrity while providing quality insurance at an affordable cost to families. In 2005, Cooper sold the agency to their trusted, long-time employee, Lori Bumpus. She changed the name to Cooper Bumpus Insurance Agency. She continued to run the company with the same goals intended from the start. They provide quality, client-focused service, and products.

    My interview with Lori went great! We were able to connect on a lot of things personally. She explained how she likes to maintain a family approach and laid-back vibe in the office. She mentioned that many financial agencies are a little too serious at times, and she didn't want to have that vibe in the office. Instead, she wants her clients to have a relatable and comfortable atmosphere when they visit. She quotes, "I want our clients to feel like family is helping them out."
